Mercator Group are proud to announce that we have been awarded ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certification after being independently assessed by the British Assessment Bureau.
Our decision to attain multiple ISO accreditation demonstrates Mercator Group’s culture for continuous improvement and reassures our clients that we will always provide them the highest level of service possible in quality, security and sustainability.
To be ready for assessment, Mercator Group embarked on an extensive inhouse program of projects for each standard. This culminated in us putting in place a set of business processes to ensure a highly effective quality, information security and environmental management system.
The independent auditors found that Mercator Group’s business processes and corporate governance met every requirement with zero non‐conformances.

ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for Information Security. The standard provides Mercator Group with a framework for an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS). It sets out the policies and procedures needed to protect Mercator Group and its customers and includes all the risk controls (legal, physical and technical) necessary for robust IT security management.
ISO 9001 is the standard for Quality Management. This provides Mercator Group with a framework for improving business efficiency and customer service. This is achieved through the implementation of an effective Quality Management System or (QMS). For Mercator Group, this has meant significant improvements in operational procedures and a reduction in costs while also improving customer satisfaction.
ISO 14001 sets the standard for demonstrating a companies’ commitment to Environmental Management by reducing waste management and energy costs and protecting the environment. This framework has again meant many improvements for Mercator Group, especially around power consumption and printing.
